 Vicco City was founded on
June 1st of year 1964. The city was started by E. B. "Bert"
McGraner and some of the interested people of Vicco to form a city
in this Community. He Traveled to and from different places
such as Atlanta, GA, also to Frankfort, KY and other places.
He got the paper work rolling and Vicco soon became the City of
Vicco in the year of June 1964. Bert made all of these trips
at his own expense.
I just wanted to tell the people of Vicco and else where,
how Vicco became a city. Thanks to Bert McGraner and the rest
of the interested people of this Community for getting the city
incorporated.
Bert did a good and fine job and some hard work to get this
done and to become a city. Thanks again to Bert McGraner for a
job well done.
